Some impressions of our recent research: In our large greenhouse, we test how the various poplar species react to drought stress and how they grow under different conditions and nutrient supplements. This week, we had our little “harvest”. Every single little poplar had to be measured in detail. Every root, every leaf, every little particle counts. Which poplar species will be the best?
